[MEDICAL DESIGN RESEARCH CENTRE]の使命は、先端デザイン領域からのアプローチにより、医療ヘルスケア分野においての諸問題の実践的な「解決」と、困難な状況の「克服」を目指し、医療ヘルスケア産業のこれからのビジョンを明確にし、明確なゴールを形成していくことです。
そして医療ヘルスケア分野においての基礎課題と、社会課題への対応を、
オープンプラットフォーム型の新しいカタチの産官学の融合により進めていく次世代型の研究センターです。
医療を熟知した医師の知と、インビジブルな未来をイメージできるデザイナーの知と、製造へつなぐエンジニアの知が統合されることにより、人間の医療
環境が革新できると考えます。現状の医療機器から、より先進的に精緻な未来形を創り出すために、いま産官学の具体的な共創が必要であると考えます。

The mission of MEDICAL DESIGN RESEARCH CENTRE is that the practical "solution" to problems in the field of medical health care, "the conquest" of the difficult situation and to make vision of the medical healthcare industry in the future clear and establish a specific goal by the approach from the tip design domain.
And it is a next-generation research centre progressing the correspondence to the basic problem and a social problem in the field of medical health care by the fusion of the industry-government-university of open platform
-shaped new form.
I think that we can perform innovation of human medical environment by unify the intellect, the intellect of doctor who knows medical well, the intellect of designer who can image the invisible future and the intellect of engineer who connect to the production. I think that it is necessary the specific and strategic co-creation of industry-government-university to create the advanced and exact future form from the present medical equipment.
